It is up to you to decied what color of Yorkie you would like. Black and tan/Blue and Gold is the Standard for the Yorkies that model in the ring and on that note not everyone that has a Yorkie shows.

Hello, my name is Rue and I am located in Charlotte,NC. I am a small hobby breeder, my yorkies live in my home with my Family and I. My yorkies are 100% Yorkshire Terriers they just happen to be Of A Different Color!
All of my yorkies are AKC registered and my males are DNA'd with the AKC. My females are 5-8 pounds and my males are 5 and 6 pounds Snickers "liver and Tan" male is 5 pounds and Checkers King Me "Parti carrier" is 6 pounds. I do not breed for Tiny Yorkies, from time to time there may be a runt or a tiny puppy but there is no such thing as a Tea Cup Yorkie "Don't be fooled" Yorkies are in the toy breed. All of my females and males carry for the color's below. I also have from time to time in litter's the traditioal color Black and Tan. My Liver and Tan male Snickers has Multiple AKC Champion's in his pedigree. Checkers King Me Parti carrier has Multiple International Champions in his pedigree.
